Andy Renton

Talented all-round angler and member of the Don Valley Specialist Group - Andy Renton, was taken to hospital recently after a heart attack which also ruptured his spleen.

He is in intensive care, where it was also discovered that he has leukemia.

I am sure we all hope Andy pulls through all this and that he is soon back on the bank.

An update on Andy Renton's condition.

He has been moved to the Sheffield Hallamshire Hospital where the doctors say he will spend at least a year.

The doctors have given him 30% chance of survival.

All of us can only wish him all of the best and that he overcomes this infirmity.
