One club membership - £165.0

Single rod on a River Itchen beat, every second Saturday in the season - £1265.0

Golf Club membership - £845.0

So not much difference really between my fishing and the golf club subs.

It is like looking at how much tax you pay on your wages not a good idea.

Or as I did many years ago, come across a listing of who was paid what in the company that I was working for at the time - this benefitted no one, least of all me.

Totally agree on the value for money front though.

£60 per year, for 2 clubs and EA licence.....all concessionary. Hull & District Angling Association, (probably one of the best 'books' in the Country),and Sugar Mill ponds.

17 ponds/lakes, 5 stretches of river (including Trent), 5 stretches of canal.

Odd day ticket as the mood takes me or when i'm too lazy to travel far.
