He did have one but it's not that particular one. I got it for a decent price on ebay.

Indeed but it's a northern spate river where I don't really want to see rainbows let alone blues.

I wasn't on the Tees but it was a tributary of it. I guess it answers the question though. If I'd have known a blue was a possibility, it wouldn't have been returned.

They'll be escapees from a fish farm somewhere on the river. If you get any more just take them for tea.

I'm seeing suggestions that blues have, at times, gone in with rainbows on quite a few of the Teesdale reservoirs (Blackton, Hury and Grassholme all being mentioned).
