New (fishing) year resolution

Well, I'm not one for new years resolutions, I made one several years ago that I would not bother anymore and it's the only one I've kept

But with the new fishing year fast approaching (not fast enough though) has anyone thought about making a New (Fishing) Year Resolution.

Of course everyone has already ticked the buy licence box in April, maybe join a club, join Angling Trust, Barbel Society etc.. or renew membership?

Find new Barbel waters

Travel lighter when fishing for Barbel

Catch a river tees barbel (not the easiest place to catch one, but the rewards can be good as the average stamp is big)
