Can any one suggest a fairly cheap £50 (ish) 2 peice rod that i can leave set up with a spare reel and 4-6 line for quick sessions after work. Proberly on the waggler.

Hi pez, I've just bought a garbolino 10ft knockout 2 pellet rod, 2 piece, for the same reason as you, but I'm using mine just to whittle out a few baits while pike fishing. Bargain at £26.99 from Cheshire Fishing And Guns Direct.

I have two Shimano Hylerloop Barble XT Classics. One set up with waggler and the second with feeder. Coupled to Shimano Exage 4000 reels. I Leave them in rod sleeves all ready to go. One cost me £40 while the other was £50. Got both reels at sametime for £50 the pair. Only ever used them for lake fishing when travelling lightish.

Have a look at the Shakespeare Mach3 ,11 foot , 2 piece around £70 . Delightful rod , originally bought for livebait snatching but it really is a nice rod to fish with.

Try the Fox Duo Lite Avon or Specialist. You can pick them up for about £70, they make a good float/ledger rod.
