Moderation note:

Can we please ask all contributors to cease using the names or referring to members who are no longer able to reply by virtue of having been banned.

It only leads to spurious membership requests that are caught by the security software here on FM and just makes more work for the moderation team to have to deal with.

Accordingly, in the future any and all references to banned members will be deleted.

I wouldn't recommend that as then you would trip the automatic 'bot that checks for duplicate IP's.

It is best to just give the technical lads time to sort it out, but please remember they are part time so cannot respond immediately and it is the holiday season.

I've never encountered this before in the 10 plus years I've moderated here in FM.

That is why I passed the question over to Colin.
