I've just got the Supero version which is 11' 6". Lovely little rod. I reckon it will be ideal for perch, crucians, big roach/rudd etc.

Be ok as a light lead rod too methinks.

Skips. I wondered about the lead rod bit. Will try it as never seem to be happy with those sold as such.

I think it would do just fine. I've used PW rods as lead/feeder rods and they've performed rather well. See no reason why this shouldn't do so too.

No good for great big barbels like the ones that follow you around, mind.

I had some barbells today Skips.
Unfortunately they were at my first trip to a Gym for my OAP healthcare visit.

Sure it'll be a good idea once I stop feeling like a bag of spuds had landed on my body or I had carried your tackle for a mile

I knows how you feel. I've been doing physio on a dodgy shoulder and the exercises I've been given to do are killing me. Hurts worse than ever now.
