Everything by Barder is expensive! Have a quick look at his rod prices if you want to make your eyes water.
Mind you, I'm still smarting from my decision many years ago not to buy two of his rods when they were 'only' £750 a pop following an unexpected windfall. I believe I took the family on holiday with the dosh....................Grrrrrrr
