Probably been asked before but on a commercial fishery carp averaging 6-8lb do you think a standard B911 would be strong enough. I seem to have inherited a large amount of them. Many thanks in advance

I usually use the B911x for my carp feeder fishing. I have found the B911 to be a bit too weak for this, although they seem to be okay for less violent hook ups like float fishing. I too seem to have collected a lot of B911s.

I use them all the time, for pole and waggler, from small roach to mid teen carp. I do use either a Drennan specimen or a Kamasan Animal for the feeder because the takes can be violent as Ralph stated above.
