I'm looking for a rod bag that holds coarse rods with reels on but also has pockets for a few bank sticks and a net handle .

Anyone know of any ? It's either rod sleeve but no room for handle or bank sticks or you go to a big holdall which is too big and heavy for my day fishibg

You haven’t said how many rods it need to take or the length. Maid up rod or Hard or soft rod bag
Sorry , 12 ft and 11 ft rods I got but don't always have reels on rods but other times I do so a made up one .

Doesn't have to be hard just padded ,

Just not the korum one as I had one but couldn't get on with it personally

I don't think the bash would fit as being a carp brand for carp rods and all my rods are coarse or specimen rods

Sorry Chris I think the both you suggested are for carp rods as I know the reel seats are in different positions on coarse to carp rods and don't fit as have tried before

Thanks anyway

If you wait a few weeks, Drennan might just have something that fits the bill. A new Specialist luggage range has been announced on Facebook for "October", but it's not on their main website yet.

I seen that but you can't get an exact picture but is there a case with pockets in side ?

One of the pictures shows what appears to be a two rod, padded sleeve type holdall with pockets on the side with landing net pole and a couple of bank sticks in them.

I got the same but drennan but one problem you can't carry bank sticks or net handle

My Preston one has a pocket on the outside for net handle and/or bank sticks. It has a neat zip near the bottom of the long pocket so you can get shorter items out of the bottom without having to up-turn the bag. I keep a couple of landing net poles and three or four quiver tip tubes in mine.

Looking at the preston ones , they are called 2+2 or 3+3 from what I understand the 2 rod you can carry 2 rods made up and 2 not plus backsticks and net handle .

Is this right?

No, it is four rods made up with reels but two rods need to be shorter. I usually have two 11ft feeders a 10ft PW and a 9ft picker. Plus Landing net handles etc.

Someone included it with a couple of carp rods andxreels that I bought s cone hand last year. I ended up selling the rods and reels and keeping the rod bag and I use it almost every time I go now
