Following on from the rod thread, how many reels do you own?
Bonus points for centrepins :wh

Personally, as I've only just started back up my collection is small.
I have a okuma Sheffield which I use for silvers, a cheap advanta pin for chub and a good old trusty abu506m. I'm also about to win a allcocks pin on that evil bidding site which I believe to be a allcocks record breaker

ok I'll kick things off - loads !

I cant seem to turn down a reel bargain (forgive the pun) so keep buying them.

I dont break down rods after sessions and tend to leave them made up so if I want to do something else rather than swap reels on rods I end up buying reels for rods...silly but thats just the way it goes.

OMG....I'm almost as bad with reels as I am with rods. This year alone I've added 8 to the stable and I can justify every one too. The fact that I've not used 4 [ possibly 5] of them yet is irrelevant.

As is the fact that the reels they were bought to replace remain perfectly good. Sometimes you just need to upgrade or have something new.

At a rough guess I'd say between 20 and 25 users....plus 6 pins. That doesnt include the fly reels

Nottskev.

All those shimmys between us will have sent Skips to bed with nightmares:)

Nothing wrong with ( some) Shimano reels...I have 3 "baby" baitrunners and unlike their big brothers they are great reels. I just prefer Daiwa and just because its a Shimano doesnt automatically make it a good reel.

Ive even got over my aversion to double handles on the babies....but only on the babies.

Too many, but they all get used.

Plus 4 old Daiwa BR type baitrunners that are never used so will probably be tossed into the trash.

My first reel was a Black Prince Chris back in 1964 or thereabouts. Do you like the Shimano gt rd's?

From what I can remember
Shimano X 5
Diawa X 4
Wychwood baitrunners X 2
Centrepins X 4
ABU Baitcasters X 3
Shakespeares X 2
At least 4 intrepid Rimfly reels
A couple of Hardy Fly reels
Various other fly reels
Plus some Sea fishing Reels and I don't even go sea fishing.

I think my reels must almost outnumber my rods,
