That's handy -the low b/s which are usually somewhat difficult to get as the tackle shops seem to concentrate on 8lb upwards.

Wish he was doing them in 300/500m spools, I think a 1000 will long outlast me.

Don’t be a Scrooge! I’d guess 300m spools aren’t going to happen. Get the 1000m spool and share with friends, that’s what I will do............if I get any friends.

John (S63) you are a true gent. Line is odd stuff. I had spooled the Aero 4000 feeder reel( thankfully using the spool reducers) with some old Drennan 8lb feeder line. I cannot remember the name but it's a gold colour! It was fine for a while but yesterday after landing the larger carp it created swizzled loops once the tension was off! It has been binned and I plan to try Progold.
