I think the specs for these spinning rods are a bit off; with rods 2 and 4 both weighing over a pound, and rods 7, 8 and 9 being reported as weighing over 3lb ???

I agree with Keith, the specs look way out. Perhaps there's some bias being displayed here.

What you have to do is firstly decide what you are spinning for, fish size wise? What weight of lures will you be casting? What length of rod do you want?

These are important when asking people what they would recommend or even when you're shopping around for one.
