Drennan Acolyte question?

Are the acolyte feeder rods among the rods reported to be braking or is it just the float rod that have the problem?

The rod Im thing of buying is the Acolyte Plus 12ft Feeder

Think it’s only the float rods but I’m no expert as I don’t own one because they break! :wh

I have the 13 ft Acy distance feeder and have not managed to break it yet.

Daiwa mid range feeder rods (up to £200) don’t break!

At least new tips are readily available for Drennan rods if you snap one ( which is unlikely)

No, the Acolyte tips have to be bought as a different fit.

Yes,super thin carbon tips,as is the trend,which break easily if you get a wrap round the tip(which occurs naturally through retrieval),all the best,he careful with the wrap rounds though,the tips aren't cheap...
