I can remember someone on site fishing Poole Harbour micro jigs ,catching several species,I've tried searches and can find nothing,if this person reads this can you help me please,if not does anyone remember such posts, with pictures etc...
That's one of them I believe there are a few of them, one in particular they used very small rubber jigs, varying colours and caught all manor of wrasse and other creatures,I bought a couple of bits and bobs today, might take an Avon rod down while my missus does some crabbing, will waste away an hour or two, thanks for that, any advice on tactics, types of lure's etc would be greatly appreciated...
Will do,thanks Mike. The thing is,I've just fished out a little telescopic silstar spinning rod and a small dam rear drag finesse reel, not as good as Neil's kit.
Well Dave,I've been in contact with Neil and the most amazing thing I've learned is a bait called isome, you buy a pack of this manufactured worm like substance and fish gobble it up,but it keeps apparently,a real bonus, especially when you don't know when you will get an opportunity to fish....
