Whitty I walked from Henlow to Jordans Mill. I could see the bottom a lot of the time. Silty grey colour. My son in law caught a lot of crays from near the A507.
The stretch downstream of Boot bridge is solid with roach in winter,a few chub there too,the river looks awful at the moment,it's full of crays upstream of Jordans.
