What can I do about an assortment of old unmarked line?

I just bunch and tie it into a really tight ball, double-bag it tightly and make sure there’s no food in the bag to tempt seagulls, then bin it.

I wind my old line around anything that’s handy like a paint tin or some wood and then cut it up into very short pieces with sharp scissors, then bag and bin it, or I may just incinerate it.

You know what’s wrong with this thread; no one’s bothering with any of the line disposal services. I believe there have been a few started up in the last couple of years and well advertised in the angling mags and the AT although not sure which. There was a postal one as well and a scheme where tackle shops joined so you could give them your old line. So, something’s not working very well!
