Hi can anyone tell me anything about this reel?

It’s a Mordex, I used to have a Mordex Merlin that looked a bit like the heavier, slightly uglier cousin of an Allcock’s Aerial. They are nice reels, if you clean and tart them up a bit, and perfectly capable of a bit of trotting. They are a true ‘pin as there are no bearings for them to run on. What diameter is it?

That self-same reel is on eBay at the moment. Are you selling it or thinking of bidding on it?
