Ok, this will most probably surprise you, but I can assure you my scales are pretty much bang on, give or take an ounce or so. I was as precise as possible when weighing them.
Also the fish are not big by many peoples standards these days so no need to lie about the weights either.
Anyhow, the fish in the top two pic's was 13lb's 3 ounces and at the time was my pb barbel caught whilst trotting....I caught it in 2017, I think it was July. I think it was October 2018 I bettered that pb with a 13lb 7 ounce fish, not much more I know but 4 ounce is 4 ounce

The fish in the bottom two pictures weighed 11lb 3 ounces, so 2lb lighter!
I have lots of pictures of barbel that look bigger than both of these, I don't think they were because I never weighed them. I've had quite a lot of barbel between 10 and 12lb but to catch anything heavier than that is quite rare in the waters I fish.
This is a picture of a barbel which weighed an ounce or two over 12lb ...
