Summer fishing is better than winter fishing.

Despite the bravado, that's what every angler feels deep inside.

I do like winter fishing but if the summer fish had winter weights you couldn't ask for more .

I just love fishing!

Winter for Roach, beautiful red fins, Chub, powerful and mean, Perch, fearsome and hungry. Used to love Pike but the old back can't stand the pain of constant casting, (spinning) or the cold of long waits.

Summer, Tench, olive skinned and full of fight, Bream, deep, bronzed beautiful slabs and of course, CARP!

Each season has it's own niche in my calendar.
