No I have had that happen but only when Ive tried to knock it down when getting out to hit a take in the middle of the night and got tangled up in the sleeping bag or fell off the bed chair.

My mate once had a bat fly into his umbrella hit the back of his head then fly out again when he was night fishing. which was imensly funny.

Neil I've heard of this phenomenon before, some years ago there was something on the Tele. If you're superstitious then it's to do with a visitation of death or the "old hag" different countries have different names for death. The logical reason was something to do with part of your brain waking up before your body i.e. your heads awake but your bodies asleep hence the reason for not being able to get up.

I get that every morning when I wake up next to the wife.

Try telling me that next time I run my mouth off before my brain wakes up...

Same as that Rik my mouth often works before my brain.Classic example"look there's a fish" up pops a coot.
