I saw the EA today. Only the second time EVER. I had just packed up and was trying to find the best way back to the road throught the floods, I was walking along and they where sitting in the land rover, I thoguht they might ask me for my licence but no I just walked by. I don't think any money is spent on my river and they only step in when the rivers are destroyed by pollution. My local river is overgrown in the summer and it's left to fisherman to bet down there own swims. Strangly enought the other time I saw the EA was about 3 years ago. In the middle of the closed season?
