Sure he will Rob, it's only `guesting` after all!
(I'm remembering a couple of chapters in his book `The Carp strikes back` here - I think they were called `Guesting` and `More Guesting`, both featuring the same two guys, Big R and Little H - thinly veiled references to Rod himself, and Brian Hankins - Little Bri)

Mind you, I reckon that as soon as he caught you, you would become a very unwelcome `guest`.

How about a visit to Kevin Maddocks lake ? The lake that some mischeivous people would say had an authenticated british record carp with a french accent. Would you believe that some one would say that ? Certainly not me though, no honest, well how about honest'ish.
Surely he would let me in with open arms especially as he writes about "guesting" in his book "In Pursuit of Carp and Catfish".
