have been fishing for more years than i care to remember but have never tried fly fishing could someone recomend eather a book or video to give me some basic tips
hi, i would recomend visiting a few local fisheries. talk to the people who run them,when you find the most helpful people listen to them and start fishing there.
you will soon learn and as a customer they will help.
books and videos aren't the best or fastest way. tackle shops can only advise on what items they sell.....

Hi,I would like to try catching a carp on a fly rod,what sort of size/gear would I need that would handle a decent carp of say 15-20lb. I do a lot of carping off the top and its my favourite way of fishing saw flyfishing for carp on tv and would love to give it a go,many thanks.
