Am breaking the bank and am considering purchasing the "Absolute".
Does anyone have any info on this as I really do not wanna cock up when spending over ?2k?
I am mainly fishing match waters that have Carp to 16lb but in the main go to 2-3lb. I also would like to use this on River such as Warw Avon etc.
Cheers Bazza

Nice pole, but nowhere near as well balanced or as rigid as the Garbolino Super G10. If you are spending 2k on a pole, then really there should be two choices - the Super G10 or the Daiwa Tournament Pro.

I have heard that Lerc where brought out by Reglass 2 years ago so the blank is a reglass hence all the same bits and bobs found on Maver poles are included now on lerc poles.
What they are like I have no idea to be honest but many rate the Pro from what I have read.

All the poles in that price range are belters, you have just got to learn to handle them differently then that of the sub ?1000 poles.

Before you buy the absolute just be aware that they have upgraded this pole for the new 2G-10 which many are saying is a better pole.

If it was me, I would go for the tournament pro as well.
