hi i am fishing a match on the k and a next week, i dont really fish canals and tend to stick to commercials, any advice would be great, A concern is my lightest elastic 10h set light and lightest line is 0.10mm. any advice would be great...thanks.
Light Lines and light elastics, Bread Punch, Maggots and Pinkies will all catch. Don't feed to much, just little and often.
Try fishing the far bank, just as it starts to slope up, or by any cover if there is any.
Don't forget to try the middle of the canal from time to time if bites dry up or are hard to come by.
If i was fishing the K and A canal,i would look to fish a chop and caster line ,as there are a lot of bonus tench,bream and dog perch in there..Also a far bank caster line for chub etc,but other than that i cant help,cheers Chef
