Now a seasoned matchman 
I am enjoying something I never thought I would. I always said I was a pleasure fisher and that match fishing was something for others to do. How wrong could I be? I love it! I can't wait to get back and have another go. My home made groundbaits seem to work really well (recipes on my blog) especially the Two Dog ground bait/method mix.
Wednesdays match was a slow day with low weights all round but I still managed to get an 8th place, which was better than I could have expected. There is a full report on my blog for those who want to know the rest of the story.
A year in and the enthusiasm is still there and growing...
