HaHaHa! That brought back to mind a trip to spain on a coach Graham.
I was on a cross channel ferry back in the mid eighties when the carp lads were going over to southern france. Just before we disembarked and mindfull of a long journey where stops for a tea 'n a wee were uncertain I popped to the loo and written on a cubicle were the words " - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - craps here (anag)"
I peed on my shoe laughing
.Foe the better part of the summer, jet for a change I fished on a few heavy stocked carp waters.
It was great fun, just catching can be. One 4 hour session resulted in 44 carp between 2lb and 6lb my best ever weight of fish in a single session.
But. After a few weeks I was back to my natural under stocked rivers and lakes. For me the worst part as the condition of the carp, vey sad to see such wonderful creatures in such conditions.
Little skill was required, I at least all my fish were returned with respect, and well treated.
