Bob take a look at the Maver MVR signature, it's more of a stool but you get side tray and extension arm as well, has a drawer/tray for sundry items such as plummets ,weights rugs etc, the legs are removable, it stores in a carry bag. rrp is around £240 but shop around.
If I change my style of fishing to just feeder and waggler and margin pole, do away with long pole, I am selling inception and getting one of these.

If you do away with the pole, have a look at what they are calling "feeder chairs". At least some of them are just canal stools with a back rest.

I have seen the Nu fish one, I think browning and Sensas do one as well.

Thanks for advice but have dumped idea of fishing the drains and gone back to my club waters which have some shelter from storms like one today. Also no slippy banks for me to slide down...lol Just sticking to float and feeder fishing no all day pole "holding"...lol
