13 seniors turned out today and the fish were fairly well
spread for the first hour or so of the match but then really tightened up.
I ended up sitting on a large shoal of feeding fish for the last 2 hours
of the match. Fishing the cone on a straight lead with corn on the hook.
1st Richard Watson, Nisa Waveney, fished the cone and 3 pieces of
sweetcorn from peg 4 for 2 small tench and about 18 carp for 65lb 4oz
2nd Mark Nash, Brian Dean/Clacton Angling, fished a method feeder and luncheon Meat from peg 28 for 9 carp and a total weight of 36lb 2oz
3rd Garry Bull, Beccles Veterens, fished a straight lead and corn from peg 27 for a weight of 16lb 5oz
4th Darren Clake, Dynamite Baits, fished a straight lead and corn from peg 26 for a weight of 16lb 4oz
5th Ray Darnell, Nisa Waveney, fished the cone and corn from peg 6 for a weight of 13lb 2oz
6th Stu Mill, Suffolk Water Park, fished a tea bag and corn from peg 7 and weighed 7lb 4oz
