Yes, don't bother.

Apart from the large rectangular match lakes the rest of the venue is a disgrace.

It's OK taking money for day tickets and building a nice new cafe, lovely little pond with wooden bridges and waterfalls outside the cafe.

Get the pegs sorted out. Fished there the other week. The lake I fished had approx 1/3 of the platforms unfishable due to their decrepit state. They were alarmingly wobbly, full of water at the back. Everything was overgrown, the rats were running amock what with all the litter and various crap left in the pegs.

Bit of a rant but it annoys me that I paid good money to fish there and couldn't fish from my chosen swim due to unsafe platforms.
One day someone will have an accident and sue the a**e off the place.

People go there to fish, and not just matches. They should get their house in order, never mind about arty farty ornamental ponds.
