I believe it is most likely to be a roach/chub hybrid. They do occur albeit rarely. Peter Stone wrote an article about this type of hybrid in David Hall's Coarse Fisherman many years ago. Coincidentally I had one out of the upper Dorset Stour just before Christmas.

If this picture is of an Ide as its supposed to be then for me the Fish in the OP has too small a mouth to be an Ide,

the OP looks more like a Roach Cross to me.

My first thought (post 6) was definitely an Ide, then, as stated just after in the edit, was hovering between Ide and Roach/Chub hybrid - still not 100% sure but if you look at the mouth sideways on, as per the fish in question, it's pretty near the mark with Ide pic. below.
