Help with rods

So since my dad used to do a lot of the work when it came to setting up the rods etc I sadly have very basic knowledge of rods etc so was hoping if possible someone could potentially help me with some general enquiries with two rods I've bought.

The first one is a Hardwear Multi Feeder (this is about all I know) as the gentleman selling it didn't know much himself.
Second is a Banshee Pellet Waggler and again this is all I know.

It didn't really dawn on me until I got them home I might need some more knowledge on them when it came to setting them up and after googling the hell outta them I've came up empty handed. A friend told me the pellet waggler comes in a variety of test curves and so to be completely safe I want to say the waggler is a 2.5lb (the lowest) however the feeder...not a clue so I want to say the same again.

The question I wanted to ask is what line would you use with these two rods as I want to be absolutely sure I'm not going to end up having any accidents so to speak. Sorry the information I have is so vague. I would ask my dad but we don't live too close to each other.

The pellet wagg rod is unlikely to be more than 1lb test, same with the feeder rod. I use 4lb line for pw and 4or6lb for feeder work.

Surprisingly that's close to what I was told by a shop I called about it too, 4-6lb for waggler and 6-8lb for feeder I'll be aiming to set them up with that all in mind now. Also thank you for the info with the waggler Peter, I'll be sure to remember that!

Yeah , looks like your mate has given you the minimum TC for the Banshee carp rods. Personally would use 6 and 8lb respectively (Waggler / Feeder) and call it good.
