New to the forum today.

Only recently returned to coarse fishing after many years using fur and feather. Have got my old tackle out (well perhaps I should re-phrase that) and have been fishing St Patrick's Stream for the past few weeks. Generally I'll fish for anything that swims and is mug enough to take my bait/lure/fly.

For a couple of years, back in the 80s I ran Doric Tackle in Thatcham. It would be good to hear from any of my fishing mates from back then.

Twyford side. I've only fished it twice - just joined on early starter offer.

It's certainly been difficult for me so far, but I'm still really trying to learn the water. I've only fished Upper St Pats (opposite bank to Cemex) so far, as this seems to be less heavily fished than the stretch below the bridge. I can say from my very short experience that it seems to be a lovely water for someone, like me, who enjoys running a float through.

Will be having another try this Thursday.
