Hi everyone, I have just joined the site and glad to be here. My name is Bernard Webb, usually known as Spider. I am 68 and live in Birmingham. I have long past the match fishing stage and also the specemin stage, I now fish purely for pleasure and most of my fishing is done on the lake at our caravan park, a big lake in natural woodlands or on the canal nearby which we have a private stretch on. My real pleasure is to just sit and watch nature and the wildlife go about their daily lives, of course a few fish caught now and then is a big bonus. I prefer rod and line float fishing, and also a leger line out for some of the carp in the lake.
