Hi, just a few lines to introduce myself. I have found myself with a bit more time on my hands being semi-retired now, and I'm thinking of coming back to fishing after almost 20 years. I want to do some pleasure angling and would have to call myself a fine weather angler :) I recently dragged my fishing gear out of the loft, most of it looks in good condition, but is probably hopelessly outdated. So re-equipping will probably form the contents of my few (if not dozens) posts, look forward to joining in the forum.

Firstly, welcome to the forum,
Second don't worry about "outdated tackle" if it's in good condition with no sign of perrishing then it will suffice for a while unless you are going specimen hunting for anything big, make sure you buy new line though as this will definitely need replacing!
Tight lines!

Cheers guys, I'm hoping my hollow glass rods will suffice for a while. I think I need a decent reel for feeder fishing, some new nets and as was mentioned; all new line and hooks.
