Ay up from Lancashire

Hi all

I'm David from West Lancs and I've been fishing for longer than I care to remember (although I never seem to get any better at it!)
As you can see from my username I like fishing the whip to hand, although I am addicted to centrepins too. Favourite baits are bread and hempseed.
Most of my fishing has been on canals and stillwaters although I am determined to do more river fishing this winter for roach and chub. I occasionally fish the odd commercial for a day out, but it's not my favourite type of fishing.
Favourite fish by far is the roach - lifetime ambition is a 2 pounder!
