Hello from the canary islands

Hi guys n girls.

I started fishing about 4 weeks ago and love it. I've caught a few Boga and Wrasse but the regulars down on the cliffs keep pulling in a lot of breem. I'd like to do that too! I eventually want to be chasing the tunas and barracuda here but need to learn a lot first!

I suppose it's likely you're our first Canary Islander.......I've done Tenerife, but didn't see many inland waters plus I 've enjoyed the peace and quiet of La Gomera for a week which I loved, but again no fishing...

Which island are you on and is it all sea fishing ??

Spent a lovely fortnight there in Caleta de Fuste about 15 years ago, got sandblasted one day though when the wind got up.?

I've scuba dived in Fuerteventura quite a few times. You have some absolutely enormous stingrays there.
