My name is Stephen I fly fish rivers almost exclusively,with a couple of visits to Stillwater throughout the season too.
I live in Newcastle my local river being the River Derwent,where I fish for wild and some stocked trout and grayling throughout the winter...when the river isn't full to bursting!!
I fish mainly wet fly but have started using dry fly over the last few years too.
I also like to the my own flies....poorly...although the fish don't seem to mind my cack handed efforts too much.
