Thread: G'day Mate.

  1. Default G'day Mate.

    Hi Team.

My name is Clinton. I am from Tasmania - Australia. I love chasing our Wild Trout down here and I am always looking for new ideas on how to fish for them. Look forward to learning and sharing.
    Regards
    Clinton.

He wasn't in a great state when he died though Lol

Seriously I don't know much about where he lived in Tasmania as I'd only spoken him a couple of times when he came over to the UK for a family wedding, plus a couple of times on facebook; (apart from when he lived in the UK Back in the 50s & 60s).

Anyway I'm looking forward to reading your posts on here.

Hello Clinton and Welcome to FishingMagic

Scholars have long known that fishing eventually turns men into philosophers.

Unfortunately, it is almost impossible to buy decent tackle on a philosopher's salary. ~

Welcome from across the ditch. I do a bit of trout fishing in winter, this may be of interest to you. Not sure if bait fishing is allowed where you are though.

First freshwater trip of the year!

Welcome from the other side of the world!

I'm not much into travelling (neither is my wallet...) but if I ever get to go abroad, Tasmania would definitely be one of those places I'd consider. Very beautiful and special island you have there!
