Returning to coarse fishing after years in the wilderness

Hi, I just moved to Nottingham after a long spell in the south east. now have gone back to coarse fishing after years of neglect (sea fishing). Looking forward to trying my hand at river fishing again. I have always preferred fishing rivers to lakes, ponds and canals. Will be testing my skills (or lack of) on the Soar, Derwent and Trent as time goes by.
