Hi Guys well i went Lure fishing with my Bro today in Higham Ferrers , Northants and after battling with a lot of weed , I managed to pull out this aprox 8lb Pike , im glad i had my brothers landing net as he wouldnt fit in mine and must get a larger one . I used a floating / diving lure as i found it sort of skimmed across the weed a bit better .

Well fishing in the winter months can be challenging but i went down to the canal and put a diving lure on thinking i may catch a pike or 2 which got followed a couple of times but no takes , so i downsided the lure and went on to catch some decent perch around a pound and below so all was not lost .
