Just back fishing this season after 25 yr break.
Its been a hard season trying to catch Barbel on the Bristol Avon,but have caught a couple and some cracking Chub.
I have found a lot has changed on the Avon since I last fished, with access to the bank a real problem .

Welcome back. Yes access can be a problem up here as well. The marginal weed and reed growth on the Witham and Ancholne has to be seen to be believed.

Welcome beaker Bristol Avon isn't what it once was but hopefully it will regain some of its past Barbel fishing.
