Hi all,

I am James from Buckinghamshire and I have already received some great advice by reading some of the posts in the forums so far.

I fish for lots of different species and like to specialise when fishing. Currently enjoying my winter perch and roach fishing on a new venue. I tend to fish for those through till spring, then tench and later after the carp from a syndicate and barbel from the river Loddon.

I also enjoy fishing for whatever comes, trotting a float on the river is a technique I hope to learn much more about.

I have roots in Yateley area and also Marlow fishing the pits of the mighty Thames Valley.

I look forward to speaking to some of you and getting involved :)

The float making thread has already caught my eye!

Same here. There are some world class guys here and we need to milk them for all they've got. OK that sounds dodgy, i accept that.

Just looking at the beautiful pics makes me go all funny, does it you? Gawd knows what i'd be like if i held one of these works of art, let alone fished with one.

Yes absolutely Another Dave, I never knew perch bobbers could be so alluring :D after showing the missus she just hung her head in dread because she knows what I'm like when I get an idea in my head, a dog with a bone springs to mind
