Evening folks
Tried to register just now and discovered I obviously already did that in '12 but clearly didn't take it any further then. I get the impression that there's the steady trickle of returnees at the moment!
In short, I'm coming back to my roots for winter fishing after 40 years-odd chasing trout and grayling with a fly rod.
I imagine there may have been one or two developments in tackle and tactics in over the intervening years
and look forward to getting - if not up to speed, then at least up to a puffing jog - over the next few months.
My particular interest is/will be trotting for roach (or dace - or chub - but mostly roach) so any pointers as to where to concentrate my efforts in the fairly limited time I'll have available will be gratefully received. Will hurry over to the appropriate section of the forum to post a "begging letter" along said lines!
