Hi guys, I joined here last week and thought I would introduce myself.

I used to do a lot of course fishing a few years ago and then didn’t really have much time but now I’m on shifts and have plenty of time to do it.

I do pole, feeder and float fishing.

I usually fish at Auchinstarry and Magiscroft.
I was just wondering if people could give me some suggestions on where else to try?

I’m going down to a place called green lane fishery I think it’s called my mate down that way fishes there a lot so I will see how that is next week.

I know I’m just waiting on the thunder storms or heavy rain for months now that we have have had the hot weather for a couple of weeks.

Hi all. Thanks for the welcome. I went down to green lane farm down at Richmond with my mate on Tuesday and caught a good few. Then yesterday went to orchill and caught about 10 decent sized carp.
I’ve got some pictures will only upload a couple as don’t want to bore you all.

Welcome to FM. Let us know of your exploits as we don't knowingly get many posts from Scotland. There was one member a while back enquiring about pike fishing. I wonder if he did get to Lomond.

Will do thanks. I had a go at st maurice pond but didn’t have much luck. The water level is very low though.
