Hi all,
After nearly forty years without fishing, I decided I’d put it off long enough and started again last summer. When I was a kid I used to live for it and couldn’t wait for every weekend to get back on the bank again. I have such wonderful memories spent fishing with my brother and mates. We used to fish the Grantham canal at Wilsthorpe, Notts, a beautiful part of England. As we got older we fished the Trent and had great days on the Victoria embankment, Clifton, colwick etc, brilliant days and wonderful memories - a fantastic childhood ? Why did I stop? I started a business which consumes so much of my time. Married 3 kids and life passes by so quickly.I’m nearly 60 now and it’s time to have some “me time”!
