Whilst I have been a fisherman since childhood (local ponds and rivers) I have focused on carp since the early 70's and so neglected the rivers. Having reached the grand age of 60 ( next week)I realize that I have limited time to catch a few other nice fish that swim in our rivers and have invested in a centrepin and float rod. Initially I will be looking for chub both trotting and ledgering and hopefully mastering the Wallis cast.
The forums seem to be packed with useful tips and advice so looking forward to exploring the site.
