Hi to you all,
the things i enjoy most about fishing are the early starts when the mist is still on the water and the sun is rising. Total peace and quiet ( apart from the sounds of birds and animals ) Thats my fishing heaven. Oh yes and the occasional fish is welcome.
I am not the best angler on the river so would appreciate any tips you may have to help improve my days out.
I have just started fishing again after several years and i am a bit out of touch with tackle and methods.
I really enjoy float fishing and i am quite happy catching anything that comes along at the moment.
Several years ago i used to fish the Thames at Shillingford ( Oxfordshire ) where i enjoyed catching Chub. I wouild love to catch some again.
Does anyone have any tips on float fishing on rivers that have a bit of pace on them please ? Any help would be really appreciated.
Best regard and tight lines
Petej
