Hi There just a beginner at fishing. going to local fisheries in my area of Glasgow. going to do a little course fishing for starters. I hope somebody will give me some advice on what kind of bait to use as I will be fishing for trout

Hi Younga1 and welcome.

I would be careful about using bait for trout, there may be byelaws in effect which ban the use of bait. Trout are usually fished for with fly gear and are generally classed as 'game' fish not course.
